First Aid

First Aid courses are available on request. These are Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) or First Aid at Work (FAW). The EFAW course is one day long and gives the student a basic knowledge of how to deal with emergencies such as broken bones, burns, choking and how to conduct Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) along with how to use a Defibrillator.

The FAW course is conducted over 3 days and goes into first aid in much greater depth. It covers dealing with CPR, how to use a Defibrillator, choking, breaks, burns, epilepsy, shock, spinal injuries, angina, diabetes, asthma etc.
