DOOR SUPERVISOR

The Door Supervisor courses are 7 days in duration consisting of First Aid, knowledge of the Security Industry, law in relation to door supervisor work, physical intervention, communications and conflict management.

Students will be expected to take and pass a English exam before starting the course.

Students must hold a First Aid qualification (which may be part of the overall course). They will be taught about the Security industry, what your legal rights are as a Door Supervisor, how to deal with conflict and how to protect yourself and others around you. Assessments are in the form of written exams and students will be videoed, conducting skills and dealing with conflict incidents. Attendees should be physically fit, capable of bending and moving without pain.

The door supervisor qualification is SIA approved and a SIA licence to operate as a Door Supervisor is required. This licence lasts for 3 years.
